Mel is our practice principal, and has been treating in Narrogin for six years. Prior to that she was  working between a few small private practices in Perth. Her interests include netball, a new found love for hockey since  moving to Narrogin, reading and gardening.

She has a keen interest in long term rehabilitation and returning to a  high level of function, and is able to treat women’s health concerns  which include continence (whether you have had children or not!) and  pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain.

Mel has been practicing for 8 years, still enjoying the challenge of a more complex pain or injury. She is always looking to learn new ways of assessment and treatment, and is often off at course to upskill and keep up to date.

BRIANA McWHIRTER

Briana joined us in Narrogin in May 2019 and has fitted into the team at Earl St Physiotherapy perfectly. She enjoys being near the coast and spending time with her gorgeous pup Lizzy.

Originally from Lake Grace, Bri loved the opportunity to work and live back in the country and be closer to family.

She  also enjoys being involved in community events and playing sport, already joining up to one of the local netball clubs.

Bri was working in Perth in private practice between an outpatient clinic and inpatient consults at one of the maternity hospitals.

She has a particular interest in working with new mums and bubs, and is excited to be bringing some mum's and bubs classes very soon. She plans to take this interest further when studying to complete a masters in Women's Health Physiotherapy.

Bri is able to assess and treat any musculosketal niggle that you may have, and can confidently advise on the next course of action when you need to be referred on!
